1. Some of the pluses and minuses of digital camera technology holds in comparison to more
traditional film based camera are;
Minuses
The "too quick" ability to delete captured spontaneous moments.
Pluses
Never running out of film is great.
The lack of cost involved with being able to choose which photos to develop.
The amount of places that a photo can be placed due to digital imaging is almost infinite.
2. Some of the ways that digital images can be stored are on disk, memory stick, a hard-drive, on a camera memory. These images can get tranferred literally around the world at a click of a button these days, they can also be cross-transferred between the pieces of equipment mentioned above, and manipulated using other communications technology are that can add or subtract images within the photo, or enhance the quality of the picture.
3. The ethical issues that could and can arise when using cameras are the ones that breach privacy rights. Sometimes there is a fine line between public verses private, and other times the boundrary line is very clear. Knowing when to use a camera and what photography to display. Informed consent to be photographed and the need for the photos should have clear objectives if used in the public domain, this includes the issue of Intellectual property and looks at what is owned by who.
4. Photography is being used in occupational therapy in replace of drawings to give true representation of objects and surroundings to people with many types of disabilities and impaiments.

The difference between a digital and an optical zoom are according to http://www.anwserbag.com/ ... the difference is that optical lens are the important feature on the camera as they litteraly zoom in on the subject where as the digital zoom fills in the gaps with added pixels and other software to manipulate photo.
